We aim to grow the influence of arts and culture on young professionals in the community by connecting members with The Mint Museum. Through an expansive offering of cultural programs, exhibition openings, networking receptions, and annual fundraising events, we foster an appreciation of the arts.

• Support the STAR Gallery, designed to showcase local K-12 student artwork. 

• Provide Art Kits to provide engaging takeaway art projects for students in our community. 

• Underwrite the costs to make The Mint Museum accessible through free entry on the weekend after major exhibition openings.

Dress in your finest derby attire for a celebration filled with fun, philanthropy, and fabulous memories. In honor of the 151st Anniversary of the Kentucky Derby, this year’s Derby Days promises to be an extraordinary event you won't want to miss. Enjoy live music, refreshing Mint Juleps, a selection of open wine and beer, delicious food trucks, and exciting contests.

All proceeds from Derby Days will go towards sponsoring free tours of The Mint Museum for Charlotte Mecklenburg school students. Together, we can inspire a new generation of artists, art enthusiasts, and leaders in our community.

This event is exclusively for patrons 21 years of age or older.

Join us for a VIP holiday-inspired celebration of Southern artistic excellence. Artists, Young Affiliates of the Mint, and Special Guests are invited to enjoy cocktails, live music, and a first look at the exhibition, plus a presentation of the Jurors’ Choice | Atrium Health Foundation Award and the YAMs Choice Award.
